Keep your discounts healthy
The rewards in your tiers are powered by automatic discounts that BigBox creates in Shopify. If one of those discounts is changed or removed, the reward can stop applying. BigBox watches for this and helps you fix it.
What can go wrong
The connected discount can break if it is:
- Deleted from the Shopify discounts page.
- Turned off or expired.
- Edited so it no longer matches the bundle.
When that happens, customers may build a bundle but not get the saving they were promised.
How BigBox helps
BigBox checks that each bundle’s connected discount still exists, is active, and belongs to that bundle. If something is wrong, the bundle editor shows a repair action so you can put it right in one step. BigBox also watches for discount changes and tries to recover automatically.
What to do
- If the bundle editor shows a repair prompt, use it to restore the discount.
- Avoid editing or deleting the automatic discounts that BigBox creates directly from the Shopify discounts page. Manage rewards from the bundle instead.
- After any big change to your store’s discounts, open your active bundles to confirm they are still healthy.
