Limitations and things to know
BigBox is built to be simple and reliable, which means it deliberately does some things and not others. Here is what to keep in mind.
One offer per product and audience
Two active bundles cannot compete for the same product when their audiences overlap. If you try to activate a second bundle that would collide with an active one, BigBox blocks it. Use audience targeting to run different bundles for different groups on the same product.
Reward tier limits
- A bundle can have up to 5 reward tiers.
- Each tier needs a different item count.
- Tier item counts should sit within the bundle’s minimum and maximum.
Discounts combine with your other promotions
BigBox rewards are real Shopify automatic discounts. Other discounts and promotions in your store can affect the final price a customer pays, so test how your offers interact before a big sale. See discount types.
Analytics reflect paid orders
Sales figures are calculated from Shopify orders after they arrive, so they show paid results rather than live numbers, and there can be a short delay. See understand your bundle analytics.
Storefront and browsers
The bundle drawer uses modern browser features for the best experience. On very old browsers some of the drawer behavior may not be available.
What BigBox is not
- It is not a warehouse or kit management tool. Bundle items stay as normal cart lines and your existing inventory applies.
- It is not a general upsell platform. BigBox is focused on the build-your-own-bundle experience on product pages.
