Set minimum and maximum items
Each bundle can require a minimum number of items and cap the maximum. These limits shape the whole offer.
Minimum items
The minimum is how many items a customer must add before they can add the bundle to their cart. For example, set a minimum of 3 to create a “pick any 3” offer. Until the customer reaches the minimum, BigBox shows a prompt to add more and the add button stays disabled.
Maximum items
The maximum caps how many items a customer can add. Once they reach it, BigBox shows a “maximum reached” message and stops further additions.
You can leave the maximum open if you want customers to add as many items as they like.
How limits work with reward tiers
Your reward tiers are based on item counts, so they need to fit inside your limits. A tier that rewards “Buy 5” only makes sense if customers can actually add 5 items. When you set tiers, make sure each tier’s item count sits between your minimum and maximum. See how reward tiers work.
Tips
- A low minimum lowers the barrier to start a bundle, while reward tiers pull the customer toward larger carts.
- Setting a sensible maximum keeps the offer from running into stock or pricing surprises.
