Install BigBox and add it to your theme

Getting BigBox onto your storefront takes two steps: install the app, then add the Bundle offer block to your product template. No theme code editing is required.

1. Install the app

Install BigBox from the Shopify App Store. During installation Shopify asks you to approve the permissions BigBox needs to read your products and orders and to manage the automatic discounts that power your rewards. Approve them to continue.

2. Add the Bundle offer block to your theme

Your bundles only appear once the Bundle offer block is added to your product template:

1. In the BigBox home page, use the theme setup link. It opens the Shopify theme editor at the right place.
2. In the theme editor, add the block named “Bundle offer” to your product template.
3. Save the theme.

The BigBox home page shows whether the block has been detected on your product template, so you can confirm the setup worked.

Where the offer shows

The Bundle offer block decides where on the page the offer lives and whether it opens as a drawer or sits inline in the page. You can adjust those choices later from the theme editor. See drawer vs inline section for the difference.
